Looks like I am going to have to play a little bit of catch up right now because I got lax during the semester with keeping up with my posts on the pictures I had been taking. I didn't take as many as I would have liked but I think it is enough to make a little bit of headway. So to start off the semester, we decided to drive Miranda out to school so that we could get Grandma and Grandpa their car out to them. It was a long drive.
After finally getting to Provo and getting Miranda and myself all set up, there are a lot of different things that happened this semester that I thought were pretty cool. Miranda and I spent a lot more time together which was a first but outside of grabbing lunch and just catching up on a weekly basis, we would go to football games and hike Mount Timpanogos and just little things like that.
Sometimes, I would need to relax on my own and do my own thing for a bit so I would go to the local art building or MOAB and just walk around for a bit. They really have some amazing students and faculty over there and it was just really relaxing for me.
Outside of that, I would try to consistently go to the temple every week if I could. Towards the end of the semester I began slacking a lot but at the beginning I was doing really well. It was really helpful for me and I am excited because soon they will have finished building another temple in Provo and I could go to that one as well!
Another thing that was cool that I happened to go to was the wedding reception of one of my favorite mission companions, Elder Carlos Perez. Their reception was held at this nice little place just south of Salt Lake. I was really happy for him but I learned to never go to a reception without a date because otherwise people will try and set you up and that is just not very fun.
The rest of these are just various pictures I took throughout the rest of the semester. Overall, I didn't think this year was going to turn out like it did but still I learned a lot, loved a lot, and do a lot more of both in the future. In the meantime, this is just a small look at my life.
